The Muppets (2011) – Despite the many accolades, this isn’t quite the Muppet movie I’ve been waiting 15 years for; the humor is uneven and the songs are average, but the real problem is that the movie spends too much time with non-Muppet characters, including Walter, a half-breed, illusion-breaking abomination I hope never to see again; the film is at its best when it focuses on the real Muppets, who provide the funniest parts of the film as well as some interesting and melancholy self-reflection on the Muppets’ real-world history. 6
Enjoyable and was a good showing, but didn't bring the adventure or presence of Muppet Treasure Island or Muppet Christmas Carol (my favorites). The scene where they pick up Rawlf the Dog is hilarious and the funniest scene.
