Seven Days in May (1964) – It’s well acted and well written,
with a complex, nuanced, and insightful script that never feels heavy-handed
(even if some of the plot turns are a little on the tidy side); it may not
generate a ton of suspense, but it’s nevertheless an absorbing drama. 7
