Winchester ’73

Winchester ’73 (1950) – It’s kinda racist, the fighting is cartoony, and the reveal is super obvious, but it’s an interesting film, due in large part to the use of the titular rifle as a sort of mirror of the notions of power that various otherwise-stock characters possess; Dan Duryea is a particular highlight. 6
