Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight (2008) – If you hold
any fond feelings for the book, prepare to have them defiled: this film’s
pathetic running time can’t even pretend to do justice to the story, the world,
or the characters; add to this awful direction, bad voice acting, a trite
script that omits the novel’s best settings, and, worst of all, the horrific
clash of the inexcusably terrible 3D animation (which looks like it’s from the
mid-’90s) and the 2D (which is merely bad); the end result is a comically bad
movie that ensures that what should be a promising film franchise is DOA. 3
