Antichrist

Antichrist (2009) – All the pretentious artsiness in the world doesn’t make the graphic sex and violence any less tasteless; the film doesn’t even start to turn into a horror movie until halfway through, and when it does, not only can’t it shake an underlying ridiculousness, it goes out of its way to be as grotesque as possible; the title seems to apply to writer/director Von Trier’s nihilistic mindset more than anything. 2
