Suspiria

Suspiria (1977) – The visuals and atmosphere are profound strengths, but the acting, plot, dialogue, and pacing are all negatives; the score fits the film’s tone well, but it’s a bit much sometimes, and it’s mixed way too loud; I get the whole “child’s nightmare” thing, but in the end, while the film can be enthralling, it just isn’t satisfying. 5
