These Are the Damned

These Are the Damned (1963) – It’s a neat idea and cautionary tale, but while the story is all about the idea (which it takes half the movie just to get to), it never figures out who to focus on (certainly the miserable failure of a creepy old man romance was the wrong decision), and the end result is a dreary muddle that doesn’t accomplish much of anything. 5
